1. Who here owns a Kramer Leather holster?

2. Did you actually get it within the promised time frame?

I'm not questioning their quality. I've bought four holsters from them. I'm completely satisfied with the quality but every single one of them came about a month later than they promised.

I have several Kramer holsters. In my experience they are of the highest quality, but theIr
delivery time can sometimes be a few weeks longer than promised.

I did some research today and apparently Kramer Leather is one person. Someone named Kim.

 

I believe Kim may be the wife of the original proprietor, Greg Kramer.

i haven't ordered from them in a couple of years but the last time i got a holster and belt, lead times were listed as 10-12 weeks, it took 16 weeks to get the order.

 

I have ordered in the past. Always arrived later than originally promised. Great quality though.

 

I ordered a J-frame holster from then maybe 9 months ago. It took maybe 2 more weeks past the estimate date, but it did show up.

 

UPDATE I called Kramer this morning. We ordered the holster on September 26th. So it should have been here about the middle of January at the latest.

We emailed in late January and we were told that the holster would be here between February 7th and February 12th.

I called this morning and I was told that the holster wasn't complete yet and they hope to have it shipped within 2 weeks.

When I pointed out to the lady that she had advertised a 16-week delivery time frame and if they kept this promise we wouldn't be getting it for over 20 weeks, her response was "Oh well,sorry."

I'm fairly certain I won't be buying another holster from them.

The main reason that I won't be buying another holster from them isn't that it took so long to get it but they knew it was going to take that long to get it when they took the order and they lied about it. And then when I called them to ask about it they lied again.

 

Other than Milt Sparks I’ve never had leather deliver at quoted lead times. Just the name of the game it seems.

 

My holster arrived today.158 days after I ordered it. 42 days later than they promised.

The primary reason I bought this holster is because I can't draw from my hip with my R/ Rotator Cuff injury but I may also use it at home at the Goat Ranch.

I'm very satisfied with the quality of the holster. I'm just not happy with them lying about how long it was going to take.




The undyed suede harness is to keep any dye from bleeding into your shirt. I personally don't care because I wear black T-shirts anyway.



The ticket said it was a horsehide holster but I don't think so.

To Be Clear I did NOT order horsehide and I really don't care if it is or not but possibly they upgraded the holster for my inconvenience.



I will probably never use the magazine carrier but it came with one.
