The sales guy from sig is either the best sales men ever or Doge needs to look into all the sig weapons systems that got “adopted “

yeah it’s bigger and heavier , wears out quicker , recoils more heats up faster, and the solider can carry substantially less ammo- it’s WAY more expensive and and the best part - you the US government has to build a ammo plant on your dime to make sufficient quantities of this new proprietary ammo!

and the ordnance boards was like we will take $4.8 billion dollars worth and break ground on the new ammo plant tomorrow!!!!

Have yet to see a polymer case deliver any repeatable accuracy- 3-4 moa at best .
and I’ve seen no conclusive testing to show that it doesn’t rupture or cook off faster than steel/ brass or hybred cases .
not a subject matter expert but I just haven’t seen it deliver on the promise it seems to offer
