I guess I’ll be the one that goes against the flow, but I had one in my G34.5. Ran it for a couple of months in competition. I ended up removing it. Lighter? Yes. Different? Yes. It takes the Glock from a partially cocked striker to fully cocked. Better? I wasn’t convinced. I will echo that the OEM GPT shoe is not great. I did end up swapping to the OEM smooth. Also, I didn’t like the unforgiving nature of the maintenance requirements. Not that it’s a lot, but it isn’t nearly forgiving as the OEM assembly.

I'm not sure what the maintenance issue is that a previous poster posted about. Is that from your experience with the new Glock Performance Trigger or is it something you heatd? It has not been my experience. Even if it is an issue I don't see the problem if you do your own maintenance.
Are you passive aggressively referring to me? If so, you didn’t read what I wrote. I used the GPT for just under 6 months in two different guns. I did my own preventive maintenance. I never experienced any issues. I just didn’t like it overall. I don’t think it’s a “better” trigger than the standard OEM one. That’s completely subjective. However, you can’t ignore that Glock started adding PM instructions in the newest versions. People were encountering stiffness, grittiness, and occasionally failure if they didn’t clean and lube every 500-1000 rounds. That’s objective. We both agree, though, that if you do as instructed there isn’t an issue. I didn’t like the “neediness” of the GPT. Again, this is subjective. I run a Glock because they are some of the un-needy weapons ever produced.

My apologies. My question wasn't meant to be passive or aggressive. I asked if that was your experience because experience is what matters to me. On another non-Glock forum a member asked if anyone had heard about people having issues with the GPT. I didn't pay much attention because there were mimimal replies and no factual info supplied. I also missed your post #23, and also thanks to Actanon's #27 post I now understand. If those instructions were in the box my trigger came in I never saw them.
No harm, no foul. (y)
