Pretty much. The M4carbine link helped out, but I still need to get the sling unassembled. The snap is impossible to pull through the buckle.

Are you talking about the clip on the forward end?
I believe it can be removed from the loop. I have a different sling on my Norinco, so I can not help a lot.

You have to kind of put the first half through and then you can rotate the clip around and slide it the rest of the way. It will go. It just seems a bit impossible. Rotate it.

It's the Arsenal Russian OD military sling.

If you can't get it after a couple of attempts, let me know and I can do a post on installing a standard sling. And there is no need to disassemble anything, BTW.
