I am leaning towards getting a new holster or holsters (OWB) for use at the range, concealed carry, etc. I currently have a Blackhawk Serpa that fits the 17 but also accommodates the shorter barrel 26 and 19. Not wild about the Serpa for concealed carry due to the release mechanism. (we don't need to rehash how bad the Serpa is, lol) I'll likely keep it for range work with the G17 and G19. But, for OWB concealed carry, I am debating whether to get a holster that can work with both the G26 and G19 or just the G26 (a little easier to conceal). I'll likely have a backup 17 round magazine. So, 10 rd vs 15 rd for G26 vs G19 isn't a huge deal.
I've looked online at the Comp-Tac Flatline and Paddle, the Garrett Industries Silent Thunder STX 2.0. The Raven Phantom looks similar to the Comp-Tac Flatline. Then of course there are the various leather holsters. Given this is for conceal carry and range, I don't really have a preference of leather or kydex. I want good retention, smooth unholstering and reholstering.
Suggestions on getting a dedicated G26 only or one that will work with both the G26 and G19? Any experiences with the holsters I've listed? I'm not sure leather is a good option to handle both the G26 and G19. So, leather suggestions may be for the dedicated G26.
