For those of you that open carry what type of holster do you use. How do you practice weapon retention while carrying open? I assume you a least use a thumb break holster. SC just recently passed an open carry law if you have a cwp. So I’m thinking of carrying open some.

The best open carry holster you can use is one that conceals well and then you conceal it

I won't deny that inattention is an issue but feel free to post videos of people who had their concealed carry guns stolen like that

my point is I open carry often, never had an issue. Maybe it’s because I pay attn. it’s probably not because of the dead leprechaun that I carry in my pocket

Good! CCWers need to de-invest their ego and "cool factor" in wanting others to know they're armed. Be the grey man in a crowd. It's enough that only you know you're armed.
