The G30 has my vote. I didn't care for the HK 45C. The G36 is a great CCW 45 but, a 6+1 capacity.

ooo i really glad this game up lol, I just started to look for a summer carry gun, since my g19 while easy to conceal is just a little to much when i'm in shorts and a t-shirt so i was debating the G30 or G36 def goin to keep an eye on this, i'm thinking the g30 for the round count but its also just for off duty concealed carry. sorry for my little hijack rant lol :whistling:

any opinions on the better carry 45, balance of carry reliability and firepower?
When it comes to a .45cal.....H&K is the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be...10-4, Loud & Clear, Over & Out.... Next question???

I have all three, and did not think I would ever find a compact 45 that would shoot better than the G30. I like the G36 for its concealability. But, when I got the HK45c I now cannot imagine a better, more accurate, concealable 45 on the market.

Go shoot an hk45c before you decide, I was horribly dissappointed with how it felt and shot. Plenty of people love them, I'm not one of them.

I chose the 30sf and love it!
I agree with this. Always shoot first. Then buy. I shot the HK, and really liked the accuracy. Then shot a g30. Never looked back. G30 for me.

I've had three different Glock 36 and eventaually got rid of all three, slow to learn.
No experience with H&K; consider parts & extra magazines, and ,magazine springs availibility.
The 30sf would be my pick; not much bigger than the 36, better feel, greater capacity.

How exactly is the 30 not much bigger? As far as Glocks go, you're comparing the slimmest grip/slide against the widest grip/slide.

I started out with the G30 and quickly got the G36 when it was introduced. I like both but I shoot the G36 better and it is a little more comfortable with the kind of CC holster that I use. Hard to beat the quality, reliability and value....IMO.
