Anyone out there racking up some high round counts on these? I’m at 4500 rounds on mine and still waiting for bad things to happen. Mine is a 2013 model with all the updated parts and is my carry gun with grip force adaptor and undercut trigger guard and Ameriglo protector sights as only mods. So far flawless ejection.

Same with my 2009 Gen. 3 with 4700 rounds. I added the Gen. 4 ejector to that one as a precaution.

I don’t get to shoot near as much as I’d like or these would both be at 20,000 rounds by now.

I've mentioned in other threads that our agencies training Glock 21's have over 300k rounds through them. That is with stock OEM parts though. If you're using 'upgraded' after martket parts I would not have any confidence in them personally for a EDC. Other than replacing Glock's dovetail protectors.

I have 2 gen4 19's, one is mine from 2013 that has almost 5000 rounds through it and my other one is my issue duty gun from 2014 and it has over 8000 documented rounds out of it. Only thing that I have had to replace on my 2013 was the slide take down spring that is in the bottom of the frame. We were shooting it a month ago and that dang thing just slid right out and was laying on the bench. I have been a glock fanboy for years and have never had to replace anything other than the recoil springs at the designated time, so I guess I am lucky. I am really glad that I had ordered extra parts for my guns awhile back so a simply swap was gtg for us.

I hope you also replaced the RSA, the part that wears out most often. Typical service life for a single-spring RSA is about 3000 rounds.

After 2010, Gen3 pistols were updated to be like Gen4 pistols with improved coil Trigger Spring hook attachment points on the Trigger With Trigger Bar and the Trigger Mechanism Housing to reduce hook failure. The coil Trigger Spring is the part that breaks most often in Gen4 and earlier pistols. It would be worth upgrading the TWTB and TMH along with a new coil Trigger Spring.

Yes I upgraded all those parts when I changed the ejector because I already had the gun apart. So I put in the new style smooth trigger from g17 and the new trigger housing and newtrigger spring. I also change slide lock springs at 2 or 3000 rounds on my G19’s.

Recoil spring has been changed once on the Gen 3. Almost time on the Gen.4. Supposed to be good for 5000 or more.

Uh, Gen 2 G19 at over 70,000 rounds. And so what? I have a Gen 2 G17 with over 300,000 rounds. Does anyone expect less?
Mostly looking for Gen. 4 19’s as that’s what were and still are reported with most issues.

Well my 2 Gen 4 G19's aren't that high of a round count, but I think you may like to hear about the one I bought that would pitch brass at my teef :D

I bought it knowing it would do that, had about 1,000 or.so rounds ran through it at the time.

I swapped out the extractor with a Apex and I also put a White Sound Defense H.R.E.D in it. It has about 9,000 rounds through it now without any problems.

My Gen 4 G17's get shot alot more than my 19's I don't really know why, I like one just as much as the other. When I go to different classes I usually carry a G17 and G19 and I just end up running the 17 throughout the class. I shoot my G26 more than my 19's, I need to put a halt to this, those G19's need some love also. ;)

Yeah, I have a mid 2000's Gen-3 which has been flawless thru many 1,000's of rounds...but after a visit to the mothership and a complete tune-up, she is like brand new again...so her odometer has rolled back to zero...I am certain I will have a malfunction before she does...

What issues?
Weak and erratic ejection causing malfunctions and brass to face.

Some people had problems develop between 3000-7000 rounds and were unable to fix. This was before the newest Gen. 5 ejector became available however.

Have you noticed any reason to change the parts other than round count?

These 2 are my carry guns, so I am changing common breakage items on a regular basis. They are very cheap parts.

The original trigger parts on my Gen. 3 didn’t feel good ever. Hard to describe really but the new parts feel much better on the trigger break.

And the ejection on my guns with 336 ejector is definitely more erratic.

My G4-19 bought new late summer 2017, is probably just under 10K rounds.
This past April enroute to Florida,I stopped at the mothership for a checkup.
Tech did a check/refurbish.
Keeping the original grip frame, barrel and slide,...all the parts from trigger, extractor to spring cups etc. were all updated/renewed.
Basically a new gun in an old body. All done free...No Charge....
(My G43 was treated to the same GREAT SERVICE at No Charge..!)

Out of all the rounds fired in this gun since new,..I’ve had one miss fire,....ammo related.
Reloaded the round several times but No Bang..(pulled apart cartridge, had powder but primer musta been bad).
Can’t say empty’s ever ejected to my face but some times while in a booth, they will ricochet every which way upon firing/ejection. Outside,...they fly way off to the right..

My Gen 4 19 has only around 1500 rounds and is an occasional BTF thrower with cheap range ammo. It has always been a weak and erratic ejector, but whenever I load up carry ammo it does much better. I did have my first ever stovepipe out of any of my Glocks with it the other day so that was interesting. And no, I wasn’t limp-wristing and am fairly well versed in how to hold and fire a pistol offhand. My Gen 5 19 and 45 both send brass into the next county, something this Gen 4 would never even dream of.

There’s a sticky thread above about the latest model ejector that comes in some Gen 5 guns. It seems to be working great for everyone that’s tried it in their Gen 3 or 4’s.
