Just wondering if anyone has ever been into a gun store and felt like they were "bothering" them by asking them to look at a gun? There is a store down the street from my house with an excellent selection of hunting, fishing, shooting, and reloading gear, and also a very wide selection of many different firearms.
But unless you are a 6 ft 4 inch tall ******* with a cowboy hat in a $40,000 truck, they give you this smug and abrasive treatment when you ask for something. I personally am a 33 year old man who "ages well", and could easily pass for 20. I get carded all the time, yes. So I have a Ruger Blackhawk 357 that I am looking to get rid of in the future, and I want a DA/SA 6 shooting, swing out cylinder revolver to put in its place.
Well they have a Colt Lawman MK3 that I really want, and I made the mistake of telling them that I was interested in the gun, but had to sell the Blackhawk first. I seriously was waiting for the guy to come out and say, "look, if you are not gonna buy the gun today, can you please just stop wasting my time?".
I'm just wondering if anyone else has ever dealt with this? Just because I've pretty much made my decision today that even though this gun store is right across the street, and they always have a good selection, I think I'll be bringing my business elsewhere.
