Glocks were very popular in USPSA and IDPA in the 90's, but they have fallen off to less than 15% by the latest National Equipment stats.
Yeah I don’t see many except at the local club level, that’s why I was curious if anyone here was sticking with their Glocks or compete with something else. I went 17-17w/RMR-Walther Q5- Walther SF Q5 and now CZ Shadow 1

There were some at our local club shoot. A G34 SSP, a G17 CO, a G17 SSP that I recall.
That’s usually what I see, also the tactical crowd comes with Roland Specials

Funny I used to think the G34 w magwell was a “gamer gun”, now we’ve got ported/comped staccatos that fit in the rules

If true , what has taken Glock’s place in IDPA ? … I run a G17 and a G26 in IDPA and am perfectly happy as my Glocks have been 100% reliable and score well . I mostly see Glocks or the S&W M&P , then the occasional Berreta PX9 or Walther in IDPA .

Not a high percentage but I do have one friend who has discovered Canik, another is big on XDm. My SSP/Prod is a M&P.

There are so many black plastic pistols that are hard to identify across the range, I don't know what is in wide use.

Have you considered a light? Both for low light and ports ?
For balance and weight? I have and do have a holster that can accommodate that, 34.5 with SF X300, but just haven’t used it. At the match yesterday was the first time I saw an actual use of the all brass “weapon light” on someone’s gun!

The G26 is probably the highest percentage gun used in BUG at this point

Mostly weight but 5/6 of the last majors I’ve shot have had ports with muzzle exclusion zones that required being opened or a true low light stage
