Not sure if this is the correct forum or not. I did check the Serial Number thread and I didn't find any info on more recent Glocks. So....

I have a Glock 26 Gen 4, serial number AKGP906. May be an NYPD weapon. Can anyone provide a year of manufacture? Thanks all.

Glock will respond in one or two business days.

Call this number and when they answer the phone, simply tell them you wanna know the birthdate of your gun, and then in about a minute they’ll tell you and you’re out of there. I’ve done it lots of times never failed.

The first two replies are the best answer, but it should be fairly recent production, maybe 2023. I have an AKME### that’s December 1st 2023, according to Glock.

I emailed them with all of my serial numbers. They hit me back the next day. I also noticed the ones I have that came with spent rounds were fired within a couple weeks of the birthdate. I thought that was interesting.
