So, kinda new to Glocks and very new to Glock Talk, but I thought I might have something to add.

I've been working on this parts compatibility chart for a couple days. So far, I've got all of the info from the Glock Parts Order Form. Is this something anyone would find helpful? If so, could someone here help me with accuracy (specifically the highlights, but any wrong or missing info)? Lastly, does this belong in the Valuable Info or a different section? I do plan on adding the G45 and 19X as well. Maybe other calibers if there's interest as well.

Attached is a picture of what I'm talking about. I'm working on this in Excel and have a PDF as well.

This is a great tool! Thanks for posting. Is this the final product or will there be more to it?
I need help to verify accuracy, then maybe expand this or make another one. I should have some time this weekend. Would like to add 19X and G45 to this list.

Maybe a master sheet for all models and gens? Maybe smaller ones for just 9mm or .40 models separately, including the slims?
Any ideas?

All good ideas, especially when you consider the multitude of threads posted, asking compatibility or conversion questions. I’m thinking there should be a way for the mods to post this info conspicuously, maybe under “articles” or a separate button on the home page or from the gunsmith section.

Welcome aboard and thank you for the chart!

Just a few notes:

-> Use S in a box to indicate that the part is STANDARD (not just "compatible") with a particular pistol.
-> Use O in a box to indicate that the part is OPTIONAL (not "may work") with a particular pistol.
-> The MINUS Connector is STANDARD in G17L, G24, G34, and G35 models.
-> All Connectors are OPTIONAL in the pistols you selected for display, so empty boxes should have O in them.
-> The lines for Ejector 336 and 1882 are legacy entries in the Glock Certified Armorer's Part List that Glock has never updated, and the section lacks mention of subsequent 9mm Ejectors 30274 and 47021 and 40SW Ejector 28926. Ejectors may be purchased only in the associated Trigger Mechanism Housing, where accurate and complete Ejector information is now to be found. DELETE totally those two superfluous lines for the 336 and 1882 Ejectors.
-> G19 barrels: There are NO Gen3 G19 non-VAR1 models. There are some late-Gen2 G19 VAR1 models. VAR1 barrels were introduced in mid-1997, a year BEFORE Gen3 G19 pistols were introduced.
-> There are NO generation-based parts differences between Gen1, Gen2, and Gen3 pistols. There are however differences based on production changes (G19 VAR1 barrels, LCI Extractors, Locking Block Pins, etc.) that have nothing to do with starting or ending a particular generation. Simplify the chart by combining Gen1, Gen2, and Gen3 pistols into one PRE-GEN4 column.
-> Include 357SIG models G31, G32, G33. Pre-Gen4 357SIG pistols are every single part identical to Pre-Gen4 40SW pistols except for barrel and (G31 and G32) rear sight Elevation. Gen4 357SIG and 40SW pistols also use slightly different Ejectors. Some of the most common parts-related questions inquire about converting between 357SIG and 40SW, which are the ONLY caliber coversions sanctioned by Glock.

Frankly, I find the original source document, the Certified Armorer Parts List FRM-72-26, easier to use. What would be valuable is a clean reformated spread sheet almost identical to that shown in FRM-72-26 but with its several errors and omissions corrected, unclear clutter eliminated, and real "what's compatible" information included.

I have changed the Standard and Optional wording. Looking for something that is a little less busy than what I have (maybe x's for Standard and just a dash for Optional)

So, remove Gen1-3, can do.
Then add 1 or 2 columns? It looks like those Gens are mostly the same, given some changes to barrels, extractors, locking blocks and pins, and slide stops. So could there be two columns for VAR1 and non-VAR1 (or called something else)? I realize most would items would be identical.

I can add those.

That is a useful document, with the exception of some places. I have downloaded and printed it, but just looking through forum questions and my own questions, it doesn't seem to suffice. I have kept almost every word, including a couple errors, in the description column. My goal would be to have something 100% as useful as the original with the additional chart for ease of use or clarification.
Thank you for the help. I'm making many changes and will post a new rev soon.

So the G19 and G26 have serrated triggers. The G17 has the smooth trigger.
The Gen3 are all interchangeable.
The Gen4 are all interchangeable.
The Gen4 has a bump on the trigger bar the Gen3 does not. Theyll work, but reports of rubbing with a Gen4 bar in a Gen3, and reports of the mag hitting if used for left handed with a Gen3 bar in a Gen4.
In a pinch, they'll work.

Hello Folks! I took the liberty of updating the Glock Parts Compatibility Chart . The part numbers and description came from https://us.glock.com/-/media/Global.../US/old/US-Site/83-Downloadable-Materials/Certified-Parts-Order-Form-91621.ashx I updated as I thought it was needed. I changed the color to green just to help when cross referencing.

The items in red could not be found in the above parts list.

I am not a complete expert on the information in the spreadsheet, but with your help I will get it updated. I will post the updated spreadsheet as I can and in its entirety.

I cant post a xls so here is a link:

Dropbox: Glock Parts Compatibility Chart v2-0.xlsx

Please let me know if the link works.
