What sights fit the footprint of "The Standard MOS cut" by Glock without using plates, These slides don't come with any adapter plates. OK I know Holosun has one the SCS-MOS , any others? What is the Glock MOS cut footprint called?.........MOS ??

In addition to direct mount, one can buy the OEM set of MOS plates for about $30 (all variants), or one can buy third party parts as well. The MOS keeps plenty of options open to you.

While some dislike the MOS system, I am fine with mine on my G34. No, it does not let the optic sit quite as low, but it is about 2mm, which isn't a huge disqualifier for me. Do I prefer the direct mount RXM? Sure! It is far superior! But the MOS does work.

My gripe is how long it took for Glock to allow us to purchase OEM Slides! Long ago I added other brands that were willing to sell me OEM slides (and for a LOT less money!). But at least Glock is finally seeing the light!

My question is: What sights (besides the Holsun) will attach directly to the Glock standard MOS cut slide without, an adapter plate? Sorry if this is an old subject, you can't buy MOS guns in Calif. so most of us in CA have never seen a MOS Glock. Also I'm a fan of front serrations for ease of racking the slide with old hands. these have them. Has Glock ever offered OME slides for sale to the public?

You already know Holosun SCS optic is direct mount to an MOS slide.
A google search shows C&H Precision came out with a MOS direct mount optic. Don't know anything about its reliability though.

As far as OEM Glock slides being offered to the general public, Black Phoenix Customs sells OEM Glock slides and frames, stripped or complete; the traditional OEM slides/frames. They don't sell the gen3 MOS slides.

I can't answer your questions regarding direct fit with specific optics, or if Glock has produced OEM slides before for general sale.

Regarding what you mentioned below that, do NOT rack your slide using the pointless front serrations. You're placing body parts closer to the muzzle than you'll ever need to. No one should be doing that or teaching that.

It's my understanding that the MOS cut was interduced late Gen4 2015, so Gen 3 guns never were offered with the MOS slide. I'm wondering what Gen parts are in these complete factory slides offered for Gen 3 ? They have the front serrations which Gen3 didn't have.

Thanks , yea there are quite a few company's making them. I have one for a G17, and G19 with the optic cut. I've been looking for a OME slide to have milled to use on my G17, so now I can get one from the factory and it will already be milled and have the name "Glock" on the slide.

If your "stigmatism" is that bad, your normal eyesight, especially for reading, (can you read this screen???) is affected too-- so you need glasses that correct it.

Some optics project a dot-circle. With astigmatism, pretend it's a circular splotch (which actually is much tighter and smaller than the dot circle).

Good to see Glock finally selling us slides (like H&K, S&W, SIG, and others have been happily doing for years!). Too bad it is $300, though! That is nearly the price of a good used Glock.

Does anyone know how/if these are serial numbered?

Here's both the G17 gen3 MOS and the G19 gen3 MOS slides.

I've had the 17 for about a week, 300rds so far. Shoots like a Glock.
Only got the 19 slide yesterday.

It's just money, and aren't we worth it? But seriously, you know exactly what you're getting, which is not always the case with other optic-ready slide options.

I see you've mounted the Holosun 407 on a plate. On my G17 Gen3 MOS, I decided to go for the SMS MOS optic... and I must say that it's so much nicer than the 507 on an RMR slide IMHO. That said, I've decide not to get the G19 MOS slide, but instead order an RXM slide to use with my 507C. Although the Ruger is certainly not factory Glock OEM, it's from the Ruger factory at least and they will answer the phone and talk to you (which is not always the case with other folks manufacturing slides).
