I bought one of these (after market) years ago. I realize that folks say that it speeds reloading and all but it does NOTHING where concealment is concerned.

Got sick of it immediately and took it off but...

I agree, they don’t help with concealment. I feel they do help in speed reloading. The main point of the post is Glock is making a magwell.

 

What's your standing reload time?

 

My average is around 2 seconds with a Carver magwell on my G34. I have not checked lately without the magwell.

I have Magpuls on 2 of my carry guns. Much lower profile but still aid in reloading in a hurry.

You should be able to get under a second with a Glock and no well.

It looks like it might. Glock left the back open. I had to shave parts of Magpul's to make it work with my duty gun.

It does fit with a medium backstrap. I don’t like how the front of the magwell has a lot of movement, due to it being a thin plastic. It’s what you would expect of a $20 magwell.
