For most of my life I lived in a 10 round limit state ( thankfully no longer!) and didn’t fell bad about carrying a 19 with 11 rounds on tap, but mostly carried a 26. I do think the 10 round limit in a fair number Of states has impacted some companies in designing guns around 10 round magazines, and fairly bet that May have a been a factor in the design of the glock 44 magazine being ten rounds.
