I like the tests results of the Ruger LC9. What would be the advantages of the Ruger LC9 over the G-26?

Is the LC9 THAT smaller than the G-26? Does anyone have a picture of the G-26 with the LC9?

You have the question backwards. What are the advantages of the g26 over the LC9. First off it's a glock, secondly there seems to be a magical improvement in accuracy when holding a 26.
Yes, the trigger pull is much longer and heavier on the LC9 as compared to a Glock 26..

The Ruger LC9 has its place also... yes its no Glock 26, but its not trying to be. I bought my LC9 new for $329.00 at Adventure Ourdoors in Smyrna, Ga. At that price point I had to give it a try. I had been looking at the Kahr PM9... this gun was $200 cheaper. I hated the trigger on the LC9... long and creepy and very heavy... BUT... every trip to the range, the trigger gets better (plus the thousands of trigger pulls on snap caps) Im at about 250 - 300 rounds through it now... no feed issues, and the trigger is acceptable now. Much smoother and predictable, even feels a little lighter. I can carry it in my jeans pocket... and IWB you can forget its there. My Glock 26 in a Theis holster is very comfortable... but not as much as the LC9. Bottom line...the LC9 is at least of decent quality, I shoot fairly good groups with it, it has no issues so far... That being said... my EDC is still the G26... but if your in the market for a single stack compact 9mm... it deserves a look...

I have a PF9 Keltec and a 26. I decided to go with the PF9 over the Ruger as I liked the grip better on the Keltec. When comparing them, to me their is only one advantage of the LC9 or PF9 over the 26 is that is overall size. The 26 is better in every other category, accuracy, reliability, capacity, felt recoil (it's actually fun to shoot), the list goes on and on. I do still carry my PF9 when I really want to make sure that I do not print, but I have my 26 in the summer and a 29 in the winter. If I could only choose one, it would be the 26 hands down no questions. If I could only have one CCW it would also be the 26.....glad that is not the case though....

To me, a LC9 is what you would carry when you can't carry a G26 for some reason but want more than a LCP/P3AT. And my guess would be it does that pretty well. I'm a guy who wants 10 or 12 rounds in my gun. I don't particularly care much if I have more than that but I want that many. I have to have a reason to go under that amount.
