Good day all. Long time shooter, long time Glock owner, and I've probably had an account here in the before times but that has been lost to time. I usually go by Cslinger and have for.....well far more years than I like.
I will be changing out the dovetail protector......errr stock sights
on a G48 in the near future. I want them to be future proofed for co-witness with most likely a Holosun EPS Carry or SCS Carry. I will be using a plate and not filing down the rear RMSC nubs.
Ideally I would like to mount a set of Ameriglo "Hackathorns" (I'm not sure what they are called these days, blacked out rear, high viz front.) or similar. I just don't know the height I should be looking for. I am not looking for super tall, suppressor height sights and just need a lower co witness, but I want to see more then just the very tippy top of the sights through the window.
I would really appreciate any info you folks could provide as far as a good sight height for this application.
Take care, shoot safe and thanks much,
