I'm leaving in all of the below videos and information, so that folks will know the whole story behind this comp for me, and roughly 100 other folks that received the first 100 of these comps. I received the replacement on Thursday 3-17-2025. And have since taken it to the range, here are my thoughts on the replacement:

Well... I had planned on bringing a ton of comparison videos with this comp to you all, buuuuuut the comp literally failed on the very first round I fired. Great concept, but I think the Slimline Glock Barrels are too thin for a lug type system to be utilized.

I've already contacted them, we'll see what they say. I've heard from one other person that his failed within 30 rounds, and two others where theirs wouldn't even allow for the comp to be installed. INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTING!!!

After a LONG 10+ week wait, this comp finally came today!

Should be an awesome addition to the Glock 43X, and/or a Glock 43 with 43X slide.

I'll likely be testing this out this weekend with and without it to see how much of a difference it makes.

Any test request, drop them below! I want to answer all the questions folks may have about these in a single video if possible.

Slapped it on my 43 for the heck of it

Update 3-17-2025

Received the replacement last Thursday, took it to the range this weekend for my LTC qual. This one has lasted 50x longer than the first one so far! Lol, not saying much. Will be doing a comparison video of this one soon.

Sounds like maybe they are giving you an option of:
1- A DLC finish comp that will take 10 days,
2- Or a cerakote finish comp that will take 4 days,
3- Or full refund in tomorrow's mail.

That's how I interpret it.
Yeah, no way I'm going cerakote, that stuff is basically slightly better than paint in regards to barrels. IF I get a replacement I'll wait for the DLC. Not sure which way I'm going to go yet. Very disappointing to say the least.

I'd get the "tomatoes in the rail" myself... :)

This does seem like the best option now that you mentioned it!
I just did a quick google of Icarus Omega Comp, didn't read too far into it.
But it's "new". Like cars (and even guns), let the initial buyers do the beta testing on them to get the kinks out. I know you have your youtube channel and maybe you want to have fresh content for viewers, so I get that.
From what I gather from your posts, just get a full refund and get the Radian. For practicality, that's probably the better option.

It's a great concept for sure! After getting a Ramjet, Mass Driver, and Vantage Point Comp and having zero issues I wanted to try this one out, plus they beat Radian to market, so why not right?

Looks like they just went too fast even though this took 10+ weeks from when it was ordered.

Not sure how I will move forward, but I'll keep everyone updated!
