Oh that's the bump....hhhmm

I like a clipped version of the remora cuz I have read of people having the non clipped dropping down their leg or popping up over the waistband. I would think the clip would assist in eliminating these issues. I guess I am just use to clips.

Clark, how much are those Shtf holsters? Alien gear isn't too expensive and gives you options to carry more pistols with their shells.

It probably depends on your body type and how you wear it. I've been using a Remora four years and haven't had any of those issues.

$59 through Amazon and other places.

I was just looking at their newest offering:

An ACE-1 hybrid IWB holster that accepts the new Streamlight
TRL-6 light/laser platform.

http://www.amazon.com/Streamlight-A.../dp/B011PZLF0W/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1442544418&sr=8-3&keywords=glock+43+tlr-6.

I've had an AG holster...and others.

There are good and bad holster choices these days, and cheaper doesn't always pay
off in the long run, at least in my case of trial and error:)

I'll stick with my SHTF GEAR.

Update on the original N82 holster. I like the comfort, the ease of draw, but my issue is reholstering with the stretchy material that holds the gun, very hard to get it seated in it properly with the holster in place. I'm going to give it some time to see it will break in some.

Been wearing the N82 all day. When sitting, especially in the car, it doesn't seem all that comfortable. It might be position on my belt or I think I need to adjust cant but then its going to put the belt clip back in front of the grip, which prevents me from grabbing the gun properly.

I just ordered a comfortholsters.com Jaguar Strong Side. They also have a trial period so I'll just keep trying stuff until I find one I really like.

Have had the Garrett for a week now....

It looks like the weight will ride on your pants and the hook catches the belt to keep the holster in place when you pull. How does that feel? Does it ride and function comfortably?
You are partially correct, the weight does not ride on the top of the pants, it’s more of a locator. The suede (or split leather) is what actually holds it in position and the “J” hook does as you say, retains the holster during the draw. I have the Velcro clip as well for my daily wear belt that has hook-and-loop sewn onto the interior surface. It is invisible when I am in my more formal work attire.

Rides perfectly and is extremely comfortable even when driving. Additionally, it can be hidden with a Polo that is moderately loose. Down side is that it is tough to re-holster the firearm once drawn and it is not meant to be taken off at regular intervals throughout the day.

I've heard lots of recommendations for the remora as well and even though it seems to work well, I personally wouldn't trust it without a clip or something to hold it up. My N82 should be here any moment (hurry up UPS!).

How does the Theis EZ clip work IWB or OWB? says on the site that it can do both but I don't see how?

I took the 43 out to the range today. Shot Federal HST (what I plan to carry) through 2 mags, flawless. Shot about 124 rounds of Blazer Aluminum 124gr as well - again flawless. Seems I have to focus more to get good shots with this pistol.
I think I definitely want to get a 2nd mag extension for the other mag because the grip's too small without it. I didn't remember having that much problem with it when I shot the 1st 43 but then again I only shot like 2 times with each mag.

I think I am going to get the talon grip tape as well since the gun seems to want to move too much. Had to keep re-adjusting my grip.
I just added the HD night sights from Trijicon...awesome sights. I also added the talon grip tape, great fit, I have yet to shoot it with them on though. Jury still out on the grip tape but the HD's are so sweet!

Shot today... Damn this gun shoots good ! I love the HD's immediate target acquisition. The Talon grips did not bother my hand as I was originally concerned about. 200 rds. Today.

I'm hoping Comp-Tac will make a G43 version of the CTAC. I learned long ago (when I got my first CTAC), that putting the belt clip attachment points off to the edges of the holster makes a huge difference in comfort and perceived thickness of the resulting rig.

I ordered a pearce extension (+0) over the weekend which came yesterday. I then saw posts that they came out with a +1 extension! DOH!

So I ordered 2 of the +1 extensions.

My Talon grips came yesterday as well. have yet to put them on though.

I took my Talon grips off mine yesterday...it wasn't uncomfortable shooting, it was more so when carrying. Oh well...

Can I ask what position everyone is wearing? I'm a big Cook's and Aliengear fan, but it is worth noting that I wear at about 5 o'clock. I'm curious to know because maybe certain holsters are better for certain positions. Thanks!
