So took my 41 apart and polished the disconnecter where people said to polish on YouTube, out 1lb heavier springs in it and pretty much polished where guess you would call the sear slides against the firing pin, sorry if I'm getting these terms wrong but put the gun back together and get a wonderful 3.5 lb trigger but as I keep pulling the trigger with a snap cap the weight keeps going up and up be till eventually I'm around 7lbs, tried bending the disconnecter both ways and be same thing, starts out light and keeps going up, I checked several times to make sure it's going back together right be and it is, I can do it in my sleep now, I don't get be why the weight gradually keeps going up, help.

The weight keeps going after it fires?
The trigger weight keeps going up, I polished what people call the crucible where it slides against the firing pin notch, also polished that part of firing pin so they would slide easier against each other, also polished disconnecter, after I put it together the trigger is 3.5lb and after a dozen pulls works it's way up to 7lbs, did this like 4 times and same thing, starts out light and works it's way up

If you are following what "people said", why can't you use the right terms of parts, so we know what you actually did? Get the terms right and you will get better diagnosis and advice.

Ok, looked it up, polished the cruciform seat and firing pin lug and disconnecter

It is OEM, I just lightly polished with flitz, all I changed is spring which should have nothing to do with trigger weight changing
How do you know? Yes, it actually does. You screwed it up. Put it all back to stock with new parts and don't mess with it. Function fire it first, then take shooting lessons. Stop watching boob tube dummies.

Help? Did you even function fire it before you boob tubed it up? What experience do you have with Glocks? Been thru armorer's school?, or just boob tube monkey see, monkey do. Sell that gun and get an airsoft so you can't hurt yourself or others.
What I read and watched all showed where to polish, a light polish is all I did or do Glocks have to have a specific amount, everything works fine but the trigger keeps getting heavier, the gun is going back together the same way it came apart, is the trigger getting heavier make me bc a danger to society, I won't use it until I know it's right, please save your self righteous crap for your self, your just a jerk, don't need your opinion, save it for someone who cares.

I would add "send it back to Glock for a reset before you sell it." I don't want to be the buyer after he botched it up.

I belong to a club, what does shooting lessons have to do with why my trigger gets heavier, I shoot in my backyard, have all kinds of pistols, shoot bullseye competitions, guess you guys don't know anything about Glocks, just go back to OEM, it is OEM, with some shiny parts, my god, still shoots fine but heavy trigger, I thought that was supposed to be safer, I thought someone would actually know something about Glocks, not OMG you polished something, everybody run, the trigger is pretty much what it was, a ****ty Glock trigger so back to OEM is where I'm at, thanks girls

If you believe that the 2 changes you did make should have no bearing on the problem you're experiencing then that's all the more reason to send it back to Glock. Something is clearly wrong. Trigger weight shouldn't actively increase with use.

So you're saying no one on you tube knows anything about working on Glocks, is that what your saying? I have polished the firing pin lug and sear in many guns, no issues and trigger got smoother, got this advice from my guns and ammo magazine, so I guess be they are wrong too, my issue with this one is its light when I put it back together and eventually works it's way up to heavy, not heavier than what it was and I'm asking why would it do that, if you don't know don't say the gun is messed up cause you don't know that now do you, but you claim you do, you actually don't know anything about Glocks, you're go to answer is being it back to OEM, it is, it operates fine, trigger is heavy, you guys are a bunch of knees jerk reactions, you know nothing, been hunting and shooting for 45 years safely, thankyou Ladies for your opinions, I hope you're an armorer for whatever brand of gun you shoot before you take it apart otherwise you're a danger to society. I bet you carry with your safeties on.
