I had my EDC G27 stippled and really like how it feels in the hand............BUT this thing rubs my love handles RAW!:mad::mad:
I've tried under-shirts.......they work, but they're pretty hot down here in Texas in the summer. I currently use a Crossbreed Supertuck holster and it exposes the handle to my body. Any recommendations? Holster recommendations? What are you guys doing that have stippled? I know I can't be the only one with this problem?!?!?!?!

Perhaps a holster with a sweat shield. My guns are not stippled, but I wear a "T" shirt between the gun and my body. Hot here as well, I just tough it out.

Chubby guy reporting in!

ALWAYS wear an undershirt, especially in hot weather. Not only does it prevent your gun from rubbing on you but it absorbs any sweat rather than it leaking onto your outer shirt. Otherwise get a holster with a sweat guard. No way I want the sharp edges on my slide or the rough texture on my grip rubbing on me all day.

Tell Granny your story.

Come Christmas, there will be a little sompin under the tree from her.

If, between now and then she hides her knitting from you, just pretend you saw nothing.

She will be knitting you a "carry cozy".

It will keep your gun clean and away from your skin.

It will also help hide your carry gun from the public.

The only people that will know what it is are the folks with Grannies that knit.

Answer - don't stipple.

Once you have, my sympathy is pretty limited.

I stippled the grips on a Sig P239 that I carry appendix. The first time I carried it, I realized it wasn't such a good idea. It about buffed a hole in my belly.

A little topping off the points with 400 grit made it way more comfortable....and, about as grippy (or slick) as before I stippled it. That was wasted time and energy.

I'm a fan of bicycle inner tubes myself.
