Ok so I decided to get a Ghost Ultimate drop in trigger. I installed it and at first I couldn't get the slide to reassemble. So I took it all apart and put the stock connector back in put it all back together and it worked fine. After reading their trouble shooting section some more I figured the connector was bent to far outwards, I followed their instructions by using paper to measure the bend angle both times and thought I was ok. So then i put it all back together with the ghost connector installed again and dry fired it. Worked ok once but was really sloppy. Tried it again and now the trigger wont "fire". So now here is my problem I can't get the slide back off because the trigger can't be pulled. HELP!

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Its stories like this that convince me to leave it alone the way Glock made them. After all those guys are smarter than me.

Well since I knew how to take it apart again I went ahead and re-adjusted it for the third time. Success! It feels better than the stock one but I can't actually fire it for a few weeks. And I can't really blame the aftermarket part of it, it was my fault for not getting it adjusted right to begin with. It was also my first time ever stripping the gun down that far so even that was an experience I'm glad I had.

Yet another story of a glock has problems due to aftermarket crap. Leave em' stock!!
My g37 has a Ghost Rocket trigger connector,Wolffe competition spring kit..25 trigger job.(2.9 lbs.trigger pull that's short,smooth,almost no overtravel and short reset)I've ran 750+ assorted,mostly cheap rounds through it without a hiccup.It's a Range,and night stand gun.

Yeah, thats fine but I wouldn't use it for defensive purposes. It has a better chance of failing, plus it could possibly hang you in court.

You'll regret using the ghost trigger. I installed a ghost tactical on my g23 and g27 and it was hands down the worst mod I have ever done. My 23 went from not having a single issue in 2500+ rounds to double feeding four times in a row and my 27 jammed a few times after not having an issue in the first 3-400 rounds. creep not smooth unreliable, marginally better over travel, the only good thing it had was a wicked reset, unfortunately that didn't even come close to making up for the pos they both were.

This is a GREAT post!

IMNSHO, Glock pistols are working pistols.
Yes, Glock pistols deliver really good accuracy, but, "It ain't no target pistol!"

Leave them stock and run them hard.

I've got FIVE of them, and the ONLY thing that I've added to my Glock pistols (other than the way they came from the factory) is Trijicon sights (on my G21) Hoppe's #9 and TW-25B and/or CLP.

Sofar, I've had ZERO problems with my Glocks.

ETA: Correction!!!! I just remembered that I put a Pearce +2 magazine baseplate on one of my G26 (Gen4) mags.

Well we will see. I already had 800 rounds through it with no issues. I will take it back home in two weeks and put about 500 through it and see what happens. If I'm happy with it and nothing happens I will leave it in. If it has any feed issues or anything else I will take it off send it back put the stock one back on tell everyone I can never to waste time or money on this upgrade.

There was nothing wrong with the part. It was adjusted wrong. Ghost is pretty clear about what is needed and how to adjust it. An orange cover is recommended to be able to push the trigger bar down is case the fit is not right.

I'm not a fan of modifying my Glocks; however to each their own.

Follow Butch's advice to get the slide off, then you can get the adjustments done.

If it doesn't "drop in" on a Glock, there is something wrong. Glock reccomends only using stock parts. If you don't like the way a "broken in" Glock trigger is, you may as well get a different gun. I for one love the stock trigger on my Glocks.
