So after recently turning 21, and acquiring my handgun permit, I am now the proud owner of a G21 SF. Fantastic.

One thing I've never had a clear understanding on is which parts on the SF vs the standard frame are actually different (other than the frame). What I really need to know is: if somehow I were to mess up my baby, which parts would I be able to buy for a standard 21 that are exactly the same as the 21 SF and are interchangeable, and which parts are NOT.

If you're a certified Glock armorer, let me know too, in case I need to ask an expert a specific question in the future.

Thanks fellow Glockers

I have both and as far as i know their the same except for the G21sf ambi not it has to use the mags with a notch in front of them instead of a the mags with the notch on the side. No mag. worries unless you have ambi mag realease. But all my mags have the ambi mag notch and the standard mag notch. Hope all this has not confused you. I'm sure a armorer will explain any other issues you need to know. Congrats you have a Wonderful .45

Yeah, it's my understanding that the ambi mags work in both frames, but the standard mags only work in the standard frame, and not the ambi frame.

I probably should have been more specific, but thanks deeczman!

For reference I have the ambi mag release (pretty handy with non eye dominance), and the picatinny rail (to drool over)
