I have someone who wants to trade me a "mind condition" Glock 30 Gen 2. Just wondering if anyone here can fill me in on what this pistol is worth (ballpark estimate) and if the Gen 2's were a good run?

I think you will find it is a gen 2.5. It has finger grooves like a gen 3 but no rail.I have someone who wants to trade me a "mind condition" Glock 30 Gen 2. Just wondering if anyone here can fill me in on what this pistol is worth (ballpark estimate) and if the Gen 2's were a good run?

Definitely a gen 3. (The early 30's weren't equiped with a rail, much like the current 26/27 models.)The G30 came out in 1997, here is my 1999 G30.

This is what people commonly call the gen 2.5. Notice no rail. I dont think Glock calls it a gen 2.5 and they would call it a gen 3.Definitely a gen 3. (The early 30's weren't equiped with a rail, much like the current 26/27 models.)
