Not a major article or anything, but just a short review with my first outing with my newly purchased Gen3 G19, so hope you guys aren't expecting a Massad Ayoob review or anything like that. I'm not new to Glocks, but this is my first newly purchased Glock in a long time.

10-21-14 test fire date
I fired 150 rounds Remington UMC yellow box/bulk pack 115 gr.
20 rounds Hornady TAP FPD 124 gr.
20 round Corbon original JHP 115 gr +P.
30 rounds Fiocchi 115 gr JHP (9AP; rated at 1200FPS)
I started out with the Hornady first, then Corbon, Fiocchi, finishing up with UMC.
In total, I had 3 FTF's. 1 with the Hornady tap, 2 with the Fiocchi. All 3 FTF's occurred with the last round in the magazine, all 3 were with the same magazine. I was using 4 new magazines (10 round commiefornia specials). I did the "pen test" with all the magazines where I would push down on the follower with a pen, and found that the follower in the problem magazine would bind a bit when pressed down about the distance equal to one cartridge. I suspect a burr or something to be impairing that follower's travel. Regardless, I will be disassembling and cleaning all the mags.
I did get lopped on top of the head by one cartridge case after firing, but in all fairness, it only happened once and I was being constantly peppered with brass from the fellow in the lane next to me, so I'm not sure if it was from my gun or his. Ejection was consistent at 1-2 o'clock in a high arc.
My conclusions? I'm happy. I won't be getting rid of this Glock anytime soon.
One question for you gents though, since its been awhile since I've owned a new Glock. I typically clean and lube my guns after every outing. With 220 rounds down the pipe, would I be OK to go ahead and clean off the copper lapping compound at this point?
