Most of the “newer” designs will be prone to this. People want all these “enhanced light weight” type parts, well, losing some rigidity comes with that. Lighter weight means less material means less strength. Mlok/key mod (whatever other crazy designs) are more prone. “Lightweight” or not, the designs implicate it. But most people don’t beat the **** out of their rifles. And yes they hold up in many combat situations just fine. It’s all about the assessment of your needs. Does the light weight design outweigh the potential of this happening?
