I own 2 48's with EPS Carry's. Both screws need to be shortened. I did this writeup on arfcom a few months back on how to do it.

Thanks, that’s just the info I was looking for. I can’t believe they send out a plate for a glock with screws that are too long. I assume with two of them that you really like the eps carry.

 

I have 4 of them now. They are excellent. Shortening the screws isn't a big deal. I'm actually modding the nubs and going without the plate now.

 

That worked great. The lengths out of the box were too long and shortening them to the correct length was easy, once the correct lengths were listed. I’ve got the same grinding wheel as you and with a set of calipers the job was a cinch. I will add that I threaded on a nut before I shortened them so I could take it off to chase the threads (my standard procedure when shortening a bolt). I don’t think I needed it with the fine wheel, but it was cheap insurance. Thanks again!

 

I contacted holison and you're supposed to send me the correct screws. I won't pay over $300 for something and then have to modify it

 

I have a 43X mos with the EPS Carry. It takes a little trial and error to grind off the correct length, but I was one of the first to get the EPS Carry. Woulda been easy if I had the measurement.
