Looking at purchasing a g43x for EDC...
But before i do, i need some info on accessories, etc.
I've read they are hard to find holsters for because they are new. I'd like a leather IWB holster with a clip.
What about night sights? Because of the slimmer slide, I would assume "normal" glock compatible sights won't fit - so are there good options for night sights for this?

Those are the 2 things I am most "worried" about - a good holster, and good night sights for it.
I doubt I will put a light on it, but are there good slim lights that fit at well?

I love my G45 but looking for something a little smaller for EDC.
I originally wanted a G26, but after holding a G43x I think I've changed my mind. Compatible mags between the G17/19/26/45 would be awesome, but not needed as I will just buy plenty of g43x mags.

You won't have any problem finding holsters or night-sights for the G43X. I have two of them and all of my G43 holsters and sights fit them perfectly.

Unfortunately, I forgot the manufacturer of the sights I put on mine, but I did get a nice fiber front sight.
The best accessory for the 43X is the Shield 15 round magazine and their magazine release. You need their magazine release to work with their magazines because they are metal magazines. Also, there is no returning to stock magazines because they won't hold up to the Shield magazine release. But why would you return to stock anyways?

I don’t understand about the mag release damaging stock mags. There have been aluminum aftermarket mag releases for years and I don’t remember any concern about damage.

I have 3 Shields and the mag release, but don’t understand why it would be any different than previous aftermarket mag releases.

I just did some research for my G48. The G48 can use G43x and G43 holsters. The G43x can use G43 holsters

I spoke with Shield about this, and they told me that stock mags would be ruined very quickly with their mag release. So I can only go off of what they say.

Yeah I've read that, I just wonder what makes their's any different than previous metal mag releases.

Thanks for the reply.
