Obviously the length of the barrel, recoil spriing and guide rod are longer in the G17, but are the springs and small parts of the internals the same in the G17 and G19?

Will a glock 17 locking block fit the 19? My slow ass accidentally ordered 2 g17 locking blocks gen 3 for a couple frames I got left over. Any help?
