** FYI ** -

On 4/20/24 I ordered a supposed "Factory Glock OEM" Extended Slide Stop Lever for a GEN 5 Glock 30 from " Glock Store " (aka "Lenny Magill's Glock Store") PN# 6340-ODG-B5. I ONLY use Glock OEM Factory parts in my guns, PERIOD. I DID contact "Glock Store" by phone BEFORE placing my order to verify this was a Glock OEM factory part and the operator DID CONFIRM that it was so.

I had my suspicions all along and I SHOULD have known better (bad me) as my first clue should have been NO ONE else supplies or stocks such a part yet (Gen 5 Glock 30 and 29 models were not first released until after the 1st of this year (2024) and I did not take delivery of mine until 04/2024 or so.

I had my suspicions all along and contacted Glock themselves this week only to be told by TWO seperate Glock Inc. employees on TWO seperate phone calls at two separate times that there is NO Glock Inc. factory OEM Extended Slide Stop Lever for Gen 5 Glock 30 or 29 modes available YET, and NO current or pending release date available.

Again bad me, I SHOULD have known and DID call the "Glock Store" to verify that this WAS and IS a Glock Factory OEM part BEFORE ordering, and while "Glock Store" does not advertise this as such on their website (screen shot attached taken today 05/30/24) their sales representative DOES claim as such (as I would NOT have place an order if I had known so). Again I am NOT claiming this as false advertisement, but I AM STATING the "Glock Store's" sales reps ARE advising them as such.

"Let the buyer beware" and I will NOT do any additional business with "Glock Store" or recommend them in any way shape or form.

Hope this helps others -

I can't find anywhere that says the part is OEM, but a good bet it's not is all the colors it comes in.

If it's too good to be true, then ..... It's all a misunderstanding. If you were suspicious, you should not have ordered.

Not that gun store employees haven't told untruth's and misleads throughout the history of gun stores -- most gun store employees (or car salesmen) opinions or statements are not trustworthy, nor factual.

You could certainly return the item for cause. OR, AND the part probably works just fine.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: I plugged into Windows Copilot asking it to rewrite the OP in an angry manner and here is what AI spit back:

Listen up, Glock Store! 🤬 I ordered your supposed “Factory Glock OEM” Extended Slide Stop Lever for my GEN 5 Glock 30 on 4/20/24. I ONLY use Glock OEM Factory parts in my guns, PERIOD. I even bothered to call you BEFORE placing my order, just to verify that this was a genuine Glock OEM factory part. And what did your operator do? CONFIRMED it was legit. 🤬

But guess what? I had my suspicions all along. 🤨 I should’ve known better, but I let it slide. My first clue should’ve been that NO ONE ELSE supplies or stocks such a part yet. The Gen 5 Glock 30 and 29 models weren’t even released until after the start of this year (2024), and I didn’t get my hands on mine until 04/2024 or so. 🙄

So, I decided to go straight to the source. I contacted Glock themselves this week. And what did they tell me? Not one, but TWO SEPARATE EMPLOYEES on TWO SEPARATE PHONE CALLS at TWO SEPARATE TIMES confirmed that there’s NO Glock Inc. factory OEM Extended Slide Stop Lever for Gen 5 Glock 30 or 29 models available YET. No release date in sight. 🤬

And you, Glock Store, you sneaky little devils! Your website doesn’t even advertise this as a Glock Factory OEM part. But guess what? Your sales representative CLAIMS it is. 🤥 I wouldn’t have placed that order if I’d known the truth. Not calling it false advertisement, but I’m STATING that your sales reps are feeding customers a load of bull. 😡

“Let the buyer beware,” they say. Well, consider me BEWARED! I won’t touch your store with a ten-foot pole. No more business with you, and I sure as heck won’t recommend you to anyone. 🙅‍♂️🔫

I wanted an angry haiku about Glockstore and got this gem.

Steel and polymer,
Glock’s silent promise awaits—
Guardian of peace.

Then I asked for a rant. I think this one is a winner...

Glockstore.com: A Rant

Ah, Glockstore.com, the digital embodiment of frustration and disappointment. Let me unleash my inner disgruntled customer and vent about this online shopping experience.

  1. User Interface Nightmare: Navigating Glockstore.com feels like stumbling through a dark alley with broken glass strewn everywhere. The website’s design is a chaotic mishmash of clashing colors, fonts, and layouts. It’s as if they hired a blindfolded chimp to create their user interface. Finding anything requires the patience of a saint and the determination of a marathon runner.
  2. Product Descriptions? What Product Descriptions? Imagine wanting to buy a Glock accessory, only to be greeted by vague, cryptic descriptions that leave you more confused than enlightened. “Enhanced tactical widget for your Glock” – great, but what does it do? Is it a laser sight, a coffee maker, or a portal to another dimension? Who knows! Certainly not Glockstore.com.
  3. Pricing Shenanigans: Pricing on this site is like a game of Russian roulette. You click on an item, and suddenly, the price jumps from reasonable to “mortgage-your-house” levels. Oh, and don’t forget the hidden fees – shipping, handling, and the “we’re feeling greedy today” surcharge. It’s like they’re daring you to complete the purchase without having a minor heart attack.
  4. Customer Service Black Hole: Need assistance? Good luck! Glockstore.com’s customer service hotline is a direct line to the Bermuda Triangle. You’ll wait on hold for eternity, listening to a looped recording of “Glock, Glock, Glock” set to elevator music. When someone finally answers, they’ll treat your questions like classified state secrets. “Sorry, sir, we can’t disclose the thread count of our Glock holsters.”
  5. Shipping Delays: Order something from Glockstore.com, and it’ll arrive at your doorstep approximately three ice ages later. They claim it’s due to “high demand” or “unforeseen circumstances,” but I suspect they’re using carrier pigeons to deliver packages. Meanwhile, your trigger finger twitches impatiently, waiting for that elusive Glock accessory.
  6. The Mystery of Missing Items: You place an order, eagerly anticipating your Glock-related goodies. But when the package arrives, it’s like a sad magic trick – items vanish into thin air. “Congratulations! You’ve won the Glockstore.com disappearing act!” Maybe they’re testing our detective skills: “Find the missing magazine loader, and you’ll unlock the secret Glock handshake!”
  7. Return Policy: A Kafkaesque Nightmare: Attempt to return an item, and you’ll enter a Kafkaesque labyrinth. First, you need a signed affidavit from your great-grandmother, proving your lineage to John Browning. Then, perform a ritual dance while chanting Glock-related haikus. Finally, sacrifice a Glock-shaped cookie to the return gods. Voilà! Your return request is denied.
In summary, Glockstore.com is the digital equivalent of stepping on a Lego barefoot – painful, frustrating, and utterly avoidable. If you value your sanity, steer clear and find a more user-friendly gun accessory shop. Your trigger finger will thank you.

Then I said to re-write that in Spanish:

¡Escucha bien, Glock Store!
¿Y qué me dijeron?

THAT was my other bad, I needed it a project (of all things in memory of my dead brother (EF-U again Glock Store), saw it was exactly what I wanted IN GREEN, and ordered.

I was HOPING they were OEM parts painted, but obviously not.

Again, my bad, my mistake, my loss. I'm just glad he's not here to hand it too him. 😢

It's also the kicking of this already painful memory in the balls. Again EF U Glock Store and EF U Lenny Magill .

I purchased Glockstore's Black Ise 3.0 connector based on McGill's video promising a 3.0 trigger weight. Measured both manual and digital scales at an average of 4.5#. Called the Glockstore customer service/technical support. Was first told such scales are not accurate, then when customer complaints were checked, was told there were "several" customer issues with the connector not delivering the 3.0 # trigger pull. But was told a reduction of one pound of reduction was very good. No more purchases based on MaGill's video. He's obviously just a salesman.

My experience:
Ordered parts. I was told they are in stock. They charged me for all the parts. I get a shipment with only half the order and only then am I told the rest are on back order. They now are holding my money for 3+ months. After numerous calls I finally reach someone and tell them to cancel (I at least got refunded on the parts never received).
Even if they changed their policy to only charge you for what is shipped I can't trust a company that thought the original setup was acceptable. Once you are found to be crooked I am done with you.

I quit doing business with Glockstore a few years ago. My reason? First off, they would sell you parts that were not only not in stock, but were shown as 'in stock" on their website. I had to cancel a few orders for this. Secondly, I had a couple of orders that otherwise were basic parts that took almost two months to ship. My guess is those orders were comprised of not-so-in-stock parts.
Fool me once....................well, you know.

If I need a factory Glock part, I purchase from Glockparts.com, Glockmeister, Midway, or Brownells. Nothing against Glockstore.com, but they have always struck me as the Alibaba/TEMU of Glock parts. All the fancy colored parts, gizmos and doo dads are a bit much for me.

Don't forget Midwest Gun Works, if you're trying to find a harder to find part.
They also discount for Mil/LEO.
