Future Glock 45 Design : Offered in 40 Cal ?

As popular as the Glock 45 design is in 9mm it's not too farfetched to consider a .40 cal version ? Glock would probably make the slide thicker as they have done with new Gen 5 .40 cal offerings - but still it might make for an interesting pistol to have 15 rounds of .40 cal (G22 frame) with a G23 barrel length . Those with larger hands will like the full grip of the G22 and if for duty use has the advantage of riding better in the car than a longer length G22 ... Essentially just taking what's popular with the G45 and extending the scope to include .40 cal as a caliber offered - Law Enforcement may like the more robust .40 cal better in such a G45 type design .

Already done. I believe there is some discussion on the G23 MHS in this thread:

Will the “crossover” version of a G23 MHS ever be released? I’m guessing yes, it’s just a Gen5 G23 slide on a G45 frame with a different ejector. When? I have no idea. Until then, you have the option from the thread.

A G45 sized pistol in 40S&W would be the only future Glock I'd be interested in buying. Whether it's a 23X or whatever number they assign to it, I'd buy one.
