Has anyone been to the gun show in Ft. Myers at the Lee Civic Center? Will be down that way this Feb. and was curious if this, or any other show in the area is worth attending. Would be most interested in M1A stock/parts.

Its A good gun show to attend they'll have everything you will need their.Expect to pay to park i think its $3.00 but im not quit sure. but You will like it.

The next show is Dec 7th-8th.
Be prepared to bring loads of money if you go to one.
The last one was a total waste of time unless you want to buy over priced accessories, ammo and guns.
It's good for finding all those bits and pieces one cannot find on the web and just looking at all those beast's one cannot afford but apart from that nah I will not be going to another one.

There are quite a few nice gun shops in Ft Myers and Cape Coral, a great out door range and a 25 yard indoor range on Fowler Street.

My Mother has rented a place down there for the winter, so my wife was debating on whether we should go down for a long weekend in Jan. or Feb. She would hit the outlet mall, and I would hit the gun stores/shows....:supergrin:
If I firm the trip up, will definately let you know, thanks.
Unless youre looking for something you might not be able to find locally, its not worth the time or money, $3 to park plus $8 to get in and the prices are higher them most local gun shops here. I have been to the gun show 2 times and each time left disapointed. Wont be back either.

Whereabouts in FM are you located. I'll be there this week helping my folks out (Mom having surgery). They live around the Edison Mall. Haven't been there in years, unfortunately.

The Ft. Myers gun show, if it's the Suncoast gun show is a waste of time. Everything will be over priced, the dealers are absolute jerks, and there is too much non-gun show crap. I honestly wish people would stop going to Suncoast gun shows so they'll either change their format or stop all together.
If you want a good gun show in a 1 hour range from Ft. Myers, there is a twice yearly gun show at the Port Charlotte rodeo grounds across the street from the old Ranger stadium. It's worth going to. It's all local dealers and their prices are usually lower than normal. It's what old gun shows used to be.
