Currently carrying Speer 230gr Gold Dot, because that's what I issued our officers before I retire and still have a stash - also have some in .40 and .357 Sig. If I would have issued Hydroshoks, Ranger, Golden Saber's, etc. that's what I'd be carrying. The price was right. However, when my stash of Gold Dot runs out, I'll be shopping for any quality SD ammo that's available locally and I know performs reliably in my various 45s.
