Flea dirt, but no fleas????

I've never heard of using Borax to control fleas, but I HAVE used boric acid (an entirely different substance).

We used to just sprinkle it around and use a broom to get it down into the nap of the carpet, and then leave it there. No more fleas! Also, no more roaches, ants and just about anything else insect. About once a year we'd re-apply.

Worked for us.
