All my comp guns were set up using polished OEM parts. I tried aftermarket plungers and connectors but none of them functioned as well as hand-fitted OEM parts.

I did a fluff 'n buff on the entire trigger/striker chain of parts on my Gen 3 G34 and it produced a notable smoothness. I'm not eager to use non-Glock parts in a Glock.

yep.....I do that on all my Glocks during the initial cleaning

I agree with Ronaldo. A good polish of those parts' contact and friction surfaces will work. You can also round off the edge of the FPS shelf (not round like an aftermarket, but just knock that sharp edge off with some 2000) and it will be as good as it needs to be, IMO. There isn't enough resistance there to really overthink it too much. Those aftermarket parts are more gimmick than needed. JMHO
