Every day carry camera

I am looking to buy something smaller than my SLR for EDC. I want something I can pack in my hunting vest or fishing vest without much trouble.

Anyone else have a small P&S for EDC? :dunno:

What got me thinking about this again is that a friend asked me about the Kodak EasyShare Z981. Looks like a lot of camera for a little $.

The last one I had was a Canon A630. :faint:

my uncle has this nikon coolpix s9100 and it works very well and takes great pictures. they can be had for about $240 on amazon.com

I have a Canon SX100IS that is fairly small. It takes great photos, has 10X optical zoom. There have been 3 updated versions of it so far. They just released the SX150 and the specs have gotten better and it appears the size may have shrunk a tad bit.

Yup, best camera i ever bought, beats any camera in it's price range
