Ever order a Blue Label directly from Glock?

I just ordered a Gen 4 G19 Blue Label directly from Glock. I checked the 2 LGS's in driving distance that are Blue Label dealers, and they were a bit over $100 more. Glock told me they would only be $30-35 more.

I just got my shipping date and it is not until JULY! Has anyone ever ordered direct before? It is really 4 months. Thanks in advance.

Blue label glocks (.40/9mm, etc.), for eligible buyers (police, etc.) are $398.20. Period. Anyone charging you more (not counting local tax) is either gouging you, or they're not actually an LE distributor for glock. Local gunshops can order blue label guns from real glock LE distributors. That doesn't make the local shop a glock LE distributor, nor does it make them sell it at the actual blue label price.... As for ordering from glock, it all depends upon when their next run of that model is scheduled, and how many orders are ahead of you.

These were 2 Blue Label dealers that Glock specifically referred me to. Glock said I could expect to pay around $30 more, but the background check would be free so it would be a wash.

I was more interested in the shipping time. If they say 4 months, do they mean it, or could I expect it in 2 months?

They must have known that you weren't eligible for blue label pricing, but for a discount. Most authorized LE glock distributors that I've dealt with don't even sell to non-LE or non-blue label customers. As far as shipping time, I can't speak for glock, but they don't arbitrarily pad ship dates. Broad estimates are broad estimates. They haven't often fallen short of estimated production/ship dates, but usuall meet or beat them. I'd go with what they told you. Even the glock LE distributors don't get a concrete date until the run is prepped for shipping.

I bought a Blue Label Glock direct from Glock several years ago (before the last couple of "gun panics"), and my FFL received it within a couple of weeks of Glock's estimated shipping date (got it early). It still took several months.

If you want a Glock in a hurry, factory-direct-to-dealer probably isn't the best way to go.

I am not in a hurry so I am Ok. The only reason I ordered from Glock directly is that they were $100 cheaper. I checked with the only 2 Blue Label dealer's within an hour of me. One was $95 higher, the other was $110. I try to support my LGS when possible, but not at that price. Glock told me personally that I could expect to pay $30 more than the Blue Label price they emailed me with. They said by not paying for the transfer fee I would break even. I was fine with that. I paid $455.40 from Glock for a Gen 4 G19. I got prices of $550 and $565 from the 2 Blue Label dealer's within an hour of me. In WNY, there aren't that many, and the two I checked are the 2 Glock gave me directly.

Thank you for all of your input.

It's not different. Unless you're ordering night sights, .45/10mm/Compensated/etc., $398.20 is the only blue label price. Anything more and someone is surcharging and it's not glock. Note- If you're at a downstream dealer and they "order" you a blue label glock, they're not ordering it from glock. They're ordering it from whatever glock LE distributor serves that area.
In my area, blue label pricing is $398. I am not aware of blue label pricing being different in different areas.

Buffalo Gun Center is not a blue label dealer, however they do give a discount and usually have guns in stock, not the most personable people but you walk in and walk out with the gun in less than an hour. After shipping and transfer fee's they are about $30 more than you would pay from Glock, worth it for to me for the convenience. IMO

Sorry. The 398.20 was the same I had also. I bought it with Glock Night Sites and it was $455.

They were the 3rd place I checked. I saw they weren't a Blue Label. IIRC, they wanted $560ish for the Gen 4 19 with night sites.

Your cost figure of $455.40 sounds to me that your 19 is coming with Glock Night Sights. My Gen 4 19 and 17 cost $455.40 each under the MIL/LE program from GT Distributors. $398.20 is for a gun with contrast sights. Add Glock Nights for $57.20 and there is your figure.

May be some helpful info but when I heard about the blue label program from glock I thought about ordering from them as they are down the road in Smyrna. When I called they told me check the site for an authorized dealer which I did and they were a tad higher than what glock was advertising so I called the local PD and asked where they bought their weapons and got hooked up with the place I go to now for like $1 more than glock direct and no wait times.
