I bought a pair of Danner Acadias size 9M. I usually wear a 9M but once in a while wear an 8.5M. These Danners are too big length wise but kinda narrow at the toes. I want to order a 8.5 W but I don't want to spend money if they don't work out. There is no place to buy them where I live. Has anyone else noticed the strange sizing of Danners or is it just my odd feet?

My rivot TFX's fit perfectly! size 14 M just like my tennis shoes. Dress shoes I wear a 13.

I wear a 10 in most all shoes and a Danner 10 has always fit me perfectly.

Ya if you size your boot correctly they run a hair big. Dont get a wide, because when they break in they will stretch for a perfect fit.

Where in PA are you? There's a huge uniform shop that supplies them in austintown, ohio.
Maybe try the on if you can and go from there?


I try mine on and see if they'll price match an online price.
