Im new to the CZ line of pistols and wonder if someone could tell me their thoughts actually rank the CZ handguns for competition from best to stay away from.

+1 if you're talking factory stock. Places like CZ Custom & Cajun Gun Works sell tuning packages or can do them for you that will make all of these a lot better.Shadow

Stay away from Rami for competition.
He doesn't post his own guns, but strangely posts random internet pics. :headscratch:Cruz Lee - love that CZ Custom AO1-LD!
Does it shoot as good as it looks?
How's that? :dunno:#1 Shadow 2.
#2 Everything else.
The shadow 2 is cz's best offering that is suitable for USPSA production, the czechmate and the tactical sport are nicer guns (if for no other reason than that they don't have a stupid rail) but I really like production (and hate .40s&w which is pretty much required to be competitive in limited)How's that? :dunno:
It may not be their best, but it’s sitting at the very top of a particular niche, which is what makes it so popular. The top of the line CZ is the Czechmate.
Not sure what all this Shadow 2 talk is about, but its not even close to their top pistol.
GotchaThe shadow 2 is cz's best offering that is suitable for USPSA production, the czechmate and the tactical sport are nicer guns (if for no other reason than that they don't have a stupid rail) but I really like production (and hate .40s&w which is pretty much required to be competitive in limited)
I don’t think it was said in the OP. I look at it this way. If you go Shadow 2 / Production, you’ve arguably got the best for that particular game. While other offerings may shoot better, they’re going to be competing in divisions against STIs. And while they can be quite competitive (more than most), they’re still not top of that game. That to me makes it their best competition gun.Gotcha
The OP asked for CZ’s best competition guns. I missed where he said Production.
