Been thinking about a new bolt gun. I've boiled it down to a CZ 600 or Mauser M18. They're both around the same $, and can be had in 6.5 PRC which is a round that interests me based off the hype around it, and doesn't require a long action like a .270 or 30-06. I like the CZ 600 American, but it can't be had in 6.5 PRC. I'm not necessarily stuck on 6.5 PRC. I've always wanted a 30-06, but a .300 Win Mag is a badarse round and both can be had in the CZ 600 American. Still I think the CZ 600 Alpha is a more head to head comparison to the Mauser M18. Both use synthetic stocks. Both sell for $600-$650 generally. (You can definitely pay more for finish options, what round they're chambered in, or like any other gun they may be on sale then they're not) I do like how they're priced like Glocks, and not like Staccato's like some of your higher-end offerings are.
What do y'all think, Mauser M18 or CZ 600 Alpha for a bolt gun?
