:dunno:I saw a thread about these CGR Slant Pro Night Sight's.I got confused. The person said a Glock store made these.I am leaning toward's something like the Heine Straight 8,Slant Pro or Heine Ledge Sight's.Im getting confused.Someone posted something about CGR having a race cut rear sight. One of these sight's will go on my Glock 22 whenever I find what one is best for both day and night, just in case.

Heinie offers a narrow .140 rear notch and a wider .156 ("qwik") rear notch.

I greatly prefer the qwik version, and the ledge offers a purchase point (for one-handed slide racking) with no downside (unless you happen to prefer the aethetics of the Slant Pro).
I didn't see the Quik version on the Heine website.I do like a wider rear notch because more light can be seen.I'll have to run a search and see if I can find it.I like the idea of the 2 dot night sights.

I have the ledge sights linked below. They don't call them qwik but if you read the description they .156 wide. They are on a first gen 17 and 3 gen 27. The rear is very tight to get on. You need a good sight pusher or I guess be good with a hammer and punch. I don't trust myself so I bought a very good pusher after I bought a cheap pusher. You will also need a front sight socket. I bought mine from Heinie when I ordered the sights but you can probably find it cheaper.

Yeah I like those very much,Expensive though. The Ameriglo Night Sight's look good too.I think their cheaper.Which one is better.Every one will have their own opinions.I've only see Trijicon's but never fired a gun with night sight's.

I ended up with a G-27 and a G-26 with XS Big Dot sights and I'm very happy with them. Quick target acquisition to start and following each shot. Not for precision target work, but for self defense I think they are very good. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/93...-19-22-23-24-26-27-31-32-33-34-35-36-steel-tritium-big-dot?cm_vc=ProductFinding
Yeah I think everyone one's the perfect sight's and rarely are we gonna need to shoot past 10 yard's realistally, unless the country collapse's.But close up they got to be an advantage.

Expensive? They are going to last probably 10 years maybe more? A little over $10 a year so not that bad.

As far as what is better only the shooter can decide but I can give my opinion. On my 17 I had a burned out pair of Trijicons close to 18 years old. The 27 still had stock Glock sights. The Heinies are 2 dots on top of each other versus the 3 dot Trijicons. I can line the 2 dots up faster. Simple as that. Nothing wrong with the Trijicons but I think the 2 dots have evolved into a better system.
