Canik trade for Kahr?

Had an offer for a Canik CZ clone in matte stainless in trade for my Kahr CM9.. Can't make up my mind. I love the Kahr honestly but the Canik is all metal and full size which appeals to me somewhat. Any opinions? Keep the Kahr or trade for the Canik?

A better picture of the Kahr
Also the Kahr has an amazing trigger system. It is a double action only striker fired trigger and smooth as butter on a hot summer day

Also the Kahr is exceedingly small for a 9mm as seen here pictured with a Glock 42 .380 single stack

And here's a comparison between the Glock 26 and the Kahr -- for size

Do carry the CM9? If so do you like it?

The big guns are great, but not ideal for carry. Great range guns and even duty guns. OWB also. If you are bone thin, they can be carried IWB, but most of us are not thin enough.

As reliable shooters, both are great.

One a regular carry gun, one is not.

I've got a Glock 26 with a crimson trace grip also but I find myself choosing the Kahr 80% of the time because it is just that much thinner and shorter than the Glock 26. Now if I traded for the Canik then my Glock 26 would have to become my Carry gun, whereas now the Kahr is pretty much my carry gun and my G26 serves the purpose of a range/belt gun.
That said I am prepared to have my Glock 26 become my EDC gun but I'd rather trade the Kahr for another Glock, maybe a full size (G21/22/17/19/30/36/20) or maybe a FN 9 would be more preferable to me as I don't know anything about Canik

Also worry that Canik could be a "fly by night" gun company that nobody will even remember in 10 years?
Kahr on the other hand is well established with a loyal following and they also own Magnum research and Auto Ordnance as well as Thompson

Kahr makes a great gun, I have three of them.

I carry my G26 90% of the time. The other times I need a smaller gun the CM9 is my go to gun. Can't beat it. I have many other carry guns, but those are my favorites and I would hate to lose either.

I use the G26 with G19 mags or my G19 for a range gun. I prefer to train with the G26 since it is what I carry mostly, but the G19 is a sweet shooter I have fallen in love with, so it gets lots of range time also.

So you are In the same boat as me, your two favorite guns as of now are the Kahr CM9 and the Glock 26 or 19,

I'm in the same position
I think really I want a larger Glock and I would be settling on the Canik just to fill that full size niche which I feel isn't quite met by my Glock 26

Personally, I would keep the Kahr. I love my cm9 and it has a very specific duty as far as very compact, light weight yet effective defensive caliber that is very easy to shoot and very accurate. No way I would get rid of my cm9. You say that you tend to carry the kahr 80% of the time. To me that is the most substantial piece of info. If that is your go to gun 80% of the time I would not encourage you to get rid of it. Just my two cents, good luck with your decision.
Also, the Beretta is a fine weapon, but no way would I trade that 9mm for a .32

Khalsa, don't trade away your carry gun for a canik. Please don't do that, that is crazy talk.

I believe that you are smaller female? If that is correct, you will always have a time where that cm9 will be needed for its size. Hell, anyone of any size would. I wish i had one.

Save up and buy something full size, if thats what you want.
If you really want a metal framed gun, look at a 1911, m9 or some type of sig.

No offense intended to canik owners...

Ok I was wrong I don't know my ruger trivia very well... It's fine if they've done away with those silly safety features and yes, now I remember it has a better trigger than the regular LC9 also.. True good gun
I do caution you to stay away from KelTec
I've heard nothing but bad things over and over again about Kel Tec pf9 and p11 and p3at while personally I like the ergonomics of KelTec I read way too much reviews about guns and the mass census is that KelTec sucks

You don't have to look hard to find people critical of Glocks either. The KT pistols may not seem to be on par with others but they can be very reliable. I have not shot thousands of rounds yet I feel confident my pf9 will take care of boogymen.
