What was the cost and what optic did you end up putting on there?

 

Maple Leaf Firearms FTW. Just got my 19 slide back from them and they do great work and have awesome customer service. They will mount your dot and put new iron sights on if you want. You can buy both from them or just send all your own parts.

None better than Danger Close in Colorado. They only cerekote the raw metal where it’s machined, so the original slide color stays intact. Super low direct mounting, great machining. Can’t recommend highly enough.

 

I'm going with Battlewerx due to reputation and avoiding Jagerwerx based on reputation here on GT.

A few threads on the matter. I won't deal with a business that has such poor communication.

Another vote for Maple Leaf out of Texas - they have done 4 slides for me with a 5th on its way. I have them do their duty cut package which adds front / top serrations and improves the rear serrations.

Would love those front serrations on my 19X, but concerned with never getting close to factory 19X slide color afterwards...

 

One more vote for Maple Leaf. They have done 2 slides for me. Each job included mounting an RMR that I provided, installing new sights (purchased from them) and refinishing the slides (nitride). They give a pretty good military discount, so the jobs were about $200.00 including shipping and insurance. As someone else noted, they have packages with additional features.

 

Whats the wait time for maple ridge and the others?

 

It varies from moderately reasonable to absolutely stupid. Finish can be a big factor.

ModOne in KY does excellent work! Milled my Glock 48, and several Glocks for my Co-workers! Pike is a competitive shooter ans well and offers the best customer service! He can match any color for Cerakote too.

Anyone have a holosun 507c on their 19? Curious as to how it fits. I'm looking for something that's not going to hang over the sides and the reticle on that one intrigues me.

Mine went to Mod One. I'm very pleased with the work.

 

I went with wager machine works and man were they fast. 6 days from when i mailed it out till it was back in my hands. Just wish i would have had the blue they cut for $10 more but i guess i can get some myself and tackle the job. Seems they did a good job but no way to test fitment till my optic comes in next week

 

I have my G37.3 Slide sent off to C&H Precision Richmond Hill GA.
My Gunsmith recommended them. They say that they receive somewhere between 20 and 50 slides a day for milling. I opted for finishing the milled area only.
