I know this is a common topic and I searched before posting, but couldn't find the answer and didn't want to necro an old thread.

Which pistol is the best value when redeeming the GSSF pistol prize certificate? I already qualify for Blue Label purchases, so that's my frame of reference instead of MSRP.

I'm wondering if anyone else has already done all the math to determine which is the best value.

Thanks!
Isn't the certificate price actually higher than the blue label price? If so, I'd sell the certificate to somebody who doesn't get the blue label price and just buy a gun with the money and you both win.

Yes, the GSSF discount price is around $27 more than Blue Label. I used mine to get another GLOCK. Since you’re only allowed two Blue Labels, in a year.
Never heard that, but I buy them at various Blue Label dealers. Nobody has ever asked how many I have bought in a year.

I have no idea what that is, but it isn't required for buying blue label Glocks. I walk into the dealer, show my ID and buy a gun. Been the same for years, at 3 or 4 different dealers. I didn't have to enroll in anything or send anybody a picture of my ID and nobody else I know ever has.

It looks like you are ordering your guns from Glock, to be sent to a dealer. That is not required.

It is required, but not all LE dealers enforce it to the letter. Blue Label or GSSF pricing is not what OP is asking, he is asking the value of a certificate when you win a pistol at a GSSF Match.
I think I was mentally mixing up a pistol award certificate vs. a GSSF member certificate to buy at blue label prices.
