I'm torn between the TLR7A and the X300u. There is a significant price difference and I'm struggling to decide which to go with. The 17.5 is primarily a range/NS Pistol. Anyone have an opinion which they think is better?

Questions get asked about lights all the time - it's just about researching the handful of models out there and finding out how they'd rank in your own personal preference. All the questions that come up on various forums about "What is the best...?" are mind-numbing - everyone has opinions that vary.
In any case, here's yet another one to look in to: the Inforce APL. Is it the "best"? Who knows. But, it works real well (800 lumens), is built like a tank, and has a fine side-to-side switch for those of us that don't like the Streamlight paddles. Also having a custom Safariland ALS holster to go with it is perfect.
