Yup. Skateboard tape works for me. Put it exactly where you need it.

 

Talon grips on some of mine:

In this case (below), I used the Talon Grip to TONE DOWN the stock grip which gets uncomfortable at the range after firing a lot of rounds. Made it much better.

I have both Talon and Traction grips -

I like the Traction grips better - plus they cost less than 1/2 as much.

Traction under $9 for most Glocks and Talon $20-$25.

The big difference is the Talon usually gas coverage on the back of the grip - Tractions usually does not - but I like that better - so less is more!

I forgot to add that their 4 materials are two different types of rubber I guess one soft and one hard and then there is a rubber and sandpaper mix and a full sandpaper grit.
I have had mine since April of 2021. It hasnt worn down one bit, it hasnt peeled off one bit.
I did remove the pieces where the finger grooves are to remove the grooves and patched it with Calooze grip tape. I also removed the back strap part for a grip reduction in that area also. No issue with peeling with either brand. The textured rubberized is the one i got, which is recommended for carry. The calooze rubberized almost matches it.

easy on, easy off, reusable and its non-reflectable, I use it on extra lengths of web gear and slings as well as grip tape

 

Spend the money and buy the Talons. The only Talon grip I've ever had come loose was one I personally removed to install a newer version, IE: removed a rubber one to install a set of the Pro version. I've used Talons for as many years as I have had Glocks, that's a few years, and I've never had one come off either by accident or from old age. I've actually had people think the rubber Talons were a stipple job. The Pro's I use now are the perfect combination of increased traction provided by their granulite grips and the comfort of their rubber grips. Are they pricey? Sure. Do they last? Yep! Having tried many other brands and types, would I change? Only if Talon comes out with something better. I don't sell them, but I can attest to their effectiveness, and not through hearsay, but years of use. Good luck with your research.

I tried A-grip many years ago. Loved the feel of it. But, it would peel / debond rather quickly.

I have found the Talon grips to last for several years.

Following this just to see what grip tape is never seen it or used it..didnt know it was a thing..learn something new every day I knew about the rubber slip on typers and stippling..but that they had tape that did roughly the same thing ..learned that after 53 years even being a instructor/trainer at points.. good to know

The slip-on grips add quite a bit more width to the pistol grip. The adhesive grips like those from Talon do not add any perceptible thickness.
