OK, so.... in addition to the Haley Skimmer trigger group I used today, I had a chance to try out the TruGlo TFX sights I recently purchased. I was a bit dubious...after today? I'm sold.

For my 52 year old eyes...these things are awesome.

Seriously..try them.

I was able to get on target faster than ever before due to the truly BRIGHT fiber optics in these sights.

I second that. I have them on my G17L and G42

I have to admit I was a bit dubious since they are SO BRIGHT I thought...meh...the front sight is what matter....grumble, grumble....

After today, I'm a total convert.

I have 52 years old eyes, but...I've had LASIK surgery on my eyes and my shooting eye is my "distance" eye...20/10 through it....I can not be more impressed.

When shooting for combat shooting lining up the sights is sheer joy.

What kind of results are you getting on target? Improved accuracy is the goal - did your accuracy improve significantly at distance? I often find while being able to see the sights easily based on bright dots does not always translate to precision alignment allowing accuracy beyond very short (10 yards and closer) range.

I've owned a few... watch out for the vials backing out of their slots... It happened on my Glock 23 back in the day... Truglo doesn't have as good of a warranty guarantee as Trig, Meps, or Ameriglos....

I do have them on an EXO G26 (already installed) I traded for a few years ago... and currently on one of my 2 Glock 30S guns.. They are nice and provide a great sight picture, but not as sturdy as some of the other options IMHO...

I have had good results with the TFOs also, or perhaps more accurately my eyes, a few years past yours, like them alot. I have heard of them not being the strongest but the set on my USP got carried daily for a year or two with no problems.

I put them on my Glock 17 that I use for IDPA and found both time to first shot and target transition times improved. I liked them so much I put them on my Springfield Armory 1911 TRP. To each his own, but I think they're fantastic!

I have TFO's on four of my Glocks and have a set sitting here waiting for my Glock 43 to arrive.
If anyone missed it, they are the same set as the 42 uses.
