Suggestion - stay with OEM:

Glock part#8794 as seen in prior post. It’s less than $10. Started using these because Hilton Yam of 10-8 Performance recommended in a video. 👍🏻

 

OEM extended magazine release is perfect for me. It’s not extended very much, I think it should be the standard magazine release.

 

I have the Glock extended version in my G19.5, a vickers in my G21.4 I like the vickers better but the Glock extended OEM is fine also..

 

G5's and G4's are the same.

I have them in most of my G5's.

 

Call Glock and ask for Part 33713. It’s the Mag catch +2.0 extension. Or the +.75 works well. Fun fact (comes standard on the 19M and 19X).

Glock has NO such mag release.
Check the Armorers parts list.

Check to see if it is a Vickers part.

 

It’s a real part. I have one in mine. Maybe only available to .gov types…

 

The Ghost X-Release is what you want if you like the older Gen 3 release on the Tactical/Practical models. Both factory releases from Glock aren’t tall enough for me for the Gen 5’s.

 

I've been using this one. No complaints so far.
