Backwards slide stop lever?

A member told me to check if the slide stop lever was backwards in my G20 that is giving me problems.
Does anyone have a picture of video of how I can see what it should look like?
I have never taken the gun apart other than typical field strip for cleaning.
I wouldn’t know what to look for.
How can the slide stop be installed wrong? It has to have the fnger tab over the edge of the frame correct?

The "slide lock", which protrudes out the left and right side of the frame, which you manipulate downward for removing the slide, has two sides...it's smooth side faces forward towards the muzzle, and the notched side faces rearward where it engages the barrel lug. This part can be installed backwards, leading to malfunction, most noteably slide ejection during firing.

The "slide release lever", located on the left side of the frame (Gen1-4) cannot be installed backwards.

True, except that there is no part that Glock calls a slide release lever. It is the SLIDE STOP LEVER.
