There's no way I could wear a fanny pack and not draw all kinds of attention. It would be like I showed up wearing an army helmet or kilts.

If I wore one around strangers it wouldn't raise an eyelid. If I wore one around people I know, it would. Definitely.

Anyone use a Fanny Pack?

Funny you should ask. I'm in need of an off-body carry mode this very day.

But I'm going to use a backpack instead. A back pack won't draw attention. A fanny pack would be out of character, for me.

Fascinating thread, so much effort put forth justifying the need for fanny packs.
Guys, no need to explain, just be gay. Nobody cares.

I have absolutely nothing against gay people or fanny packs but this post almost made me spit my coffee all over the keyboard.

Once I reached my sixties, I no longer cared about being the least bit fashionable.

One of the perks of getting old.

I'm seriously thinking of getting some suspenders.
